CHALKE VALLEY HISTORY FESTIVAL - 24 - 30 JUNE
The Chalke Valley History Festival is unique, with a literary history festival, living history through the ages, and a new schools programme. Attracting some 13,000 in only its second year in 2012, 2013 promises to be even better...
Far too much going on to mention here! Go to http://www.cvhf.org.uk/festival-programme?date=2013-06-24 for more information!
On Saturday and Sunday the festival will operate extensive living history displays showcasing live battles, an airshow and many other historical attractions and stands. The entrance charge to the festival site to view these attractions on these days is included in the price of weekend literary event tickets, which are slightly more expensive than mid-week literary event tickets. If you would like to visit the festival at the weekend without attending any literary event tickets, you will need to buy entrance tickets for each person attending (see website) or on arrival at the festival ticket office.
Admission is included in the price of event tickets.
